Zoom unveils the new AMS Series USB-C Audio Interfaces
Zoom introduces the new AMS Series USB-C audio interfaces AMS-22, AMS-24 and AMS-44. The new AMS audio interfaces are especially designed for musicians who want to record in a traditional DAW setup but also want to stream their performances to platforms like YouTube and Twitch. Featuring a dedicated hardware switch, the musician can easily switch between Music mode and Streaming mode. When switched to Streaming mode, all inputs are combined into a single signal so you can easily stream without needing additional complicated software. The additional Loopback Switch combines the input audio with playback from your computer and routes it to your streaming software. This is perfect for adding background music to your stream or singing live with an instrumental track.The Direct Monitor Switch sends the input signal to your headphones while routing the same signal to your DAW or streaming software which let you monitor with zero latency. The new AMS series offers 3 different models: The AMS-22 with 2-In/2-Out, the AMS-24 with 2-In/4-Out and the AMS-44 with 4-In/4-Out. All interfaces are compatible with PC, Mac, iOS and Android and can be powered from your PC or Mac via USB-C. Additionally, the AMS-24 and AMS-44 can also use two AA batteries.

Today Focal has announced the redesigned versions of its iconic professional studio monitors, Solo6 and Twin6. The new versions of these renowned powered monitors, both originally released 15 years ago, retain Focal’s heritage of excellence in design and sound reproduction but offer increased sonic detail and even more transparency. Focal engineers have reached a new zenith in audio design through improved transducer designs, new amplifiers, and a structurally enhanced cabinet. The new monitors also push boundaries by adopting innovations from Focal’s award-winning Trio11 Be monitors including Focus Mode and much more. The new Solo6 features mounting points for wall and ceiling placement in immersive systems such as Dolby® Atmos and Sony 360RA® setups.
Complementing these two monitors, Focal also introduced an all-new, powerful “Sub12” subwoofer to add to its line with the Sub6 and Sub One subwoofer lineup. Focal Sub12 features a newly designed 13-inch woofer with a 600-watt power amp utilizing technology and features from their award-winning, flagship Trio11 powered monitors. The complete ST6 line will be shipping in June 2022.

Eventide announced Misha at Superbooth 2022
Eventide Audio introduced a new Eurorack Module called Misha at Superbooth 2022. Misha is an innovative Eurorack instrument/sequencer, that utilizes a unique, interval-based approach to playing and creating melodies. It’s designed to be played like a keyboard instrument and yet it makes music in a way unlike any instrument before it. In addition to playing it live, you can also record sequences that can be modified in a multitude of ways, allowing for new paths of spontaneous creativity. Zoom unveils the new ZPC-1 Matched Pair Pencil Condenser Mics
Zoom introduces the new ZPC-1 matched pair pencil condenser microphones. The ZPC-1 are small diaphragm condenser microphones which are perfect for stereo recording in the studio, on stage or in the field.
