Hoddesdon, 1st October 2026 – Sound Service U.K. Ltd, the Hertfordshire-based pro and home audio distributor, has been appointed the official UK and Ireland distributor for Canton, the renowned German loudspeaker manufacturer. The agreement takes effect from 1/10/26 and covers Canton’s full home audio portfolio, from hi-fi and home cinema speakers to wireless multiroom systems and custom installation products.

Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Canton has built a reputation over more than 5 decades for precision-engineered loudspeakers that combine natural, detailed sound with understated German design. Its current range spans the flagship Reference series, the Vento, GLE and Puro hi-fi ranges, the Smart series of active wireless speakers and soundbars, and an extensive line-up of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers, including the recently introduced premium P series.

Under the new agreement, Sound Service U.K. will be responsible for sales, marketing, dealer support and after-sales service for Canton across the UK and Ireland, working with both established hi-fi retailers and custom installation partners.
