Focal unveils the new ST6 Line at NAMM 2022: Introducing the Solo6
Today Focal has announced the redesigned versions of its iconic professional studio monitors, Solo6 and Twin6. The new versions of these renowned powered monitors, both originally released 15 years ago, retain Focal’s heritage of excellence in design and sound reproduction but offer increased sonic detail and even more transparency. Focal engineers have reached a new zenith in audio design through improved transducer designs, new amplifiers, and a structurally enhanced cabinet. The new monitors also push boundaries by adopting innovations from Focal’s award-winning Trio11 Be monitors including Focus Mode and much more. The new Solo6 features mounting points for wall and ceiling placement in immersive systems such as Dolby® Atmos and Sony 360RA® setups.
Complementing these two monitors, Focal also introduced an all-new, powerful “Sub12” subwoofer to add to its line with the Sub6 and Sub One subwoofer lineup. Focal Sub12 features a newly designed 13-inch woofer with a 600-watt power amp utilizing technology and features from their award-winning, flagship Trio11 powered monitors. Eventide announced Misha at Superbooth 2022
Eventide Audio introduced a new Eurorack Module called Misha at Superbooth 2022. Misha is an innovative Eurorack instrument/sequencer, that utilizes a unique, interval-based approach to playing and creating melodies. It’s designed to be played like a keyboard instrument and yet it makes music in a way unlike any instrument before it. In addition to playing it live, you can also record sequences that can be modified in a multitude of ways, allowing for new paths of spontaneous creativity. The Eventide Misha will be shipping in Summer 2022.
