We are pleased to announce the fifth generation of our award-winning Piano series – the Nord Piano 5.

The Nord Piano 5 will be available with 88 keys and with 73 keys. Both versions feature the triple-sensor keyboard with Nord’s Virtual Hammer Action technology, which is highly acclaimed among classical pianists. The Piano and Sample Synth sections of the Nord Piano 5 each contain two independent Layers. The two Pianos and two Sample Synths can be used simultaneously in a variety of split (including crossfade splits) or Layer configurations. Furthermore, compared to the predecessor Piano 4, the storage capacity for sounds of the Nord Piano Library and for sounds of the Nord Sample Library has been doubled.

The Sample synth section offers now soft and bright filters, Tru-Vibrato and the Unison mode for intensive ensemble sounds. Combined with a new reverb with chorale and bright/dark mode as well as a new delay with ping-pong function, a wide range of different sound combinations can be achieved.
The Nord Piano 5 is shipping with a wealth of fantastic concert grand, upright, electric piano, digital piano, marimba, clavinet and vibraphone sounds, but these can be replaced at any time by the user with any of the sounds from the growing Nord Piano Library or Nord Sample Library. The Nord Piano 5 will be available in the 2nd quarter.
