The award-winning American microphone brand introduces its most advanced wireless platform — featuring AES-256 encryption, 24-bit audio, and Dante network integration — now shipping to UK customers from May 2026

WILSONVILLE, OREGON / LONDON, UK — May 2026. AUDIX, the respected American professional audio brand with over 40 years of microphone engineering expertise, today announced UK availability of its groundbreaking Novacore Digital Wireless System. Designed from the ground up for professional live sound applications, Novacore combines AUDIX’s legendary acoustic performance with cutting-edge digital wireless technology, bringing a complete, scalable wireless ecosystem to UK audio engineers, touring professionals, houses of worship, and installation specialists.

The Novacore system is built around AUDIX’s proven VLM (Very Low Mass) capsule technology, delivering 24-bit digital audio engineered for natural vocal intelligibility and clean transient response. The platform addresses three core demands of modern wireless audio: uncompromising sound quality, spectrum security, and the flexibility to scale from a single channel to complex multi-system deployments.

A Complete Digital Wireless Ecosystem

Novacore launches with an extensive product range covering every element of a professional wireless setup:

  • Digital Receivers (NCR1, NCR2, NCR4)* — Available in single, dual, and quad-channel configurations, each featuring wideband UHF digital operation across a 48 MHz tuning range, high-performance RF front end with >80 dB image and spurious rejection, and AES-256 encryption with fast IR sync and pairing. Dual and quad-channel models additionally support Dante Network Audio for streamlined audio-over-IP integration.
  • Handheld Transmitter (NCHH) and Bodypack Transmitter (NCBP) — Engineered for the rigours of live performance, both transmitters deliver high-quality digital audio conversion with a dynamic range of ≥116 dB and ultra-low system latency of less than 3 milliseconds. A 16+ hour rechargeable lithium-ion battery system — with AA alkaline battery support as backup — ensures transmitters last through the longest shows and multi-day events.
  • Interchangeable Vocal Capsules (NCEC / NCTH) — Purpose-built extended cardioid and tight hypercardioid capsules bring AUDIX’s proprietary VLM capsule technology into the digital wireless domain. Engineered off-axis rejection minimises stage bleed, while internal vibration dampening ensures low handling noise. All-metal construction is built to withstand the demands of repeated live use.

    * NCR2 and NCR4 receiver models are scheduled to ship later in 2026

Spectrum Management Built for the UK

For UK audio professionals operating in one of the world’s most congested RF environments, Novacore’s built-in Frequency Coordinator is a significant advantage. The software provides real-time system visibility for confident monitoring and control, spectrum insight to support informed adjustments in challenging RF environments, and tools to identify interference and coordinate multiple systems simultaneously. The 48 MHz tuning range affords maximum flexibility when working around PMSE allocations and coordinating large-scale channel counts.
