Zoom unveils the H4essential 32-Bit Handy Recorder at NAMM 2024

25. January 2024| Zoom

Zoom is delighted to announce the H4essential. The H4essential is the successor to our popular H4nPro and features four tracks, 32-bit float recording, improved X/Y microphones that can handle up to 130dB SPL and 2 XLR/jack inputs with locking connectors. All our new recorders are designed with accessibility for the blind and visually impaired. Navigate the menu with audible descriptions through the built-in speaker or headphones. The H4essential can be used as a 32-bit float audio interface via USB-C on the computer, whereby you can also record to the internal SD card at the same time. Using the optional BTA-1 Bluetooth adapter, the H4essential can be synchronized via timecode and controlled remotely via the iOS app. With the new H4essential, creators have now more options for recording their music, podcasts and audio-for-video. The H4essential will be shipping in Q2 2024.
